JOHNSON GEARED SIDE-SHAFT MOTOR (300 RPM) - "A" GRADE



High performance DC geared Johnson motor with metal gear box used for high torque application and other automation purposes. The motor comes with 6mm off-centred shaft (side shaft) and M3 holes for mounting.

It is different from the regular Johnson for its very high reliability (mainly of its gears) and the shaft length of 29mm(comes with a hole on the shaft)

Note:Use only
 3X5mm bolts with fiber washer.Using bolts bigger than 3X5mm will damage the gearbox.

LINE TRACER LOGIC BOT - SEE HOW TO WORKING



Line follower is an autonomous robot which follows either black line in white arena or white line in black arena. Robot must be able to detect particular line and keep following it. But in this logic bot we can use 4 task in one robot, such as Line Tracer, Obstacle Avoider, Light Follower, Pit Avoider.

TUTORIAL

Step 1: Insert one motor clamp in the chassis from the bottom side.


Now insert the Second one also as shown




Step 2: Now fix the motors in between the clamps for this use the longer screws.


Now fix the nut on the other side 



In the same way fix another motor on the other side as shown.



Step 3: Fix the Castor wheel. fix the castor wheel in the bottom side of the chassis for this purpose use the smaller screws. Put the screws from the top side only exactly as shown.



Step 4: Fixing the Wheels. As you can see the Shape of motor shaft is D shaped. So match the shape in the wheel and motor and insert it properly don't break the motor shaft.


After Fixing Wheels put double side tape or insulation tape over the castor wheel screws.


Step 5: Fix the controller Board on the Chassis. For this purpose also use the smaller screws.


Step 6: After fixing the board now open the battery and connect it with battery clip. also the left and right motors to the right and left motor outputs present in the controller board and connect the battery to check the board.

SPDUINO (ARDUINO-COMPATIBLE BOARD)


The SPDuino is a clone of Arduino Mainboard with ATMEGA328 (Dumilanavo Bootloader). It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

300 RPM Square Gear DC Motor for Arduino / Raspberry-Pi / Robotics

Working of Square Gear Box:

The working of the gears is very interesting to know. It can be explained by the principle of conservation of angular momentum. The gear having smaller radius will cover more RPM than the one with larger radius. However, the larger gear will give more torque to the smaller gear than vice versa. The comparison of angular velocity between input gear (the one that transfers energy) to output gear gives the gear ratio. When multiple gears are connected together, conservation of energy is also followed. The direction in which the other gear rotates is always the opposite of the gear adjacent to it. In any DC motor, RPM and torque are inversely proportional. Hence the gear having more torque will provide a lesser RPM and converse.
