The Ultrasonic Sensor (HC-SR04) are easy to use distance measuring sensors based on SONAR technology .They provide accurate (Accuracy of +/- 3mm) readings about the distances and has a measuring range of 2 cm to 5 meters .These sensors can be mounted over a hobby servo for making an efficient obstacle avoiding robot and environment mapping robot.
